The Opportunity
This role reports into the Head of UX and Design. As a Mid-Level Product Designer, you’ll take ownership of feature design work — from idea to execution. You’ll work with product and engineering partners to craft mobile-first experiences while continuously improving our products for real users.
What You’ll Focus On
Product Design & Ownership
- Own the end-to-end design of specific features or projects, ensuring they meet user and business goals.
- Collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to shape requirements and design thoughtful solutions.
- Use research and product data to inform your decisions and iterate quickly.
- Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
UX & UI Design
- Build user flows and journeys that consider both happy paths and edge cases.
- Design clean, consistent, and accessible UI components that work across platforms.
- Use and contribute to the design system to ensure a scalable and cohesive experience.
- Present your work clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams.
Collaboration & Feedback
- Work closely with other designers, providing feedback and design critique.
- Participate in user testing and incorporate insights into iterations.
- Contribute ideas to improve design tools, processes, and team practices.
What you bring
- 2–4 years of experience designing digital products, preferably with a focus on mobile.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your UX and UI thinking and ability to ship real work.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
- A user-first mindset and ability to balance user needs with business priorities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineers and PMs.
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a collaborative team environment.
- Bonus: Experience in financial products or regulated industries is helpful.
