The Role
We're seeking a talented engineering intern to join our mission of empowering healthcare providers with the technology they deserve. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare and frontier AI, helping build solutions that have meaningful impact on both clinicians and patients.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain features across our technology stack
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React
- Create efficient and scalable backend services with Python, Node.js
- Integrate voice AI/LLM capabilities into our clinical workflows
- Collaborate on API design and development
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
What We're Looking For
- Strong JavaScript and Python skills with experience in React, Node.js
- Familiarity with frontend development (HTML, CSS, responsive design)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend architecture
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts is a strong plus
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to learn quickly
- Background or interest in healthcare technology (healthcare experience is a plus)
- Previous startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
Requirements
- Must be available to work in-person at our San Francisco office 5 days a week
- Willing to work hard in a fast-paced startup environment
- Comfortable with "vibe coding" - rapidly prototyping solutions and iterating quickly
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or related field
